The Diocese of Raleigh is a Latin Rite diocese covering the eastern half of North Carolina. Erected as a diocese in 1924 from the earlier Vicariate Apostolic of North Carolina, it is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Atlanta and is led by Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama.
