History
All of South Carolina falls within the Diocese of Charleston (Latin: Dioecesis Carolopolitana), a Catholic diocese in the United States whose territory covers the entire state. Jacques Fabre-Jeune serves as bishop, and the see is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
