Antigua couples introduced to Sacramental Marriage Building workshop
Fourteen couples in Antigua participated in a Sacramental Marriage Building workshop at the Veranda resort to gain practical tools for their marriages. The workshop, which moved beyond traditional lectures on doctrine, focused on the lived experience of the Sacrament of Marriage.
Jason and Nicole Thomas and Dave and Tracey Hilaire traveled to Antigua on October 1 to lead the session. Invited by Bishop Robert Llanos and Vicar General Pierre Tevi-Benissa, the pair represented the Archdiocesan Family Life Commission coaching team, which has implemented the program in Trinidad for three years.
While many attendees regularly participate in annual marriage retreats at the resort, participants noted this was their first experience with this specific workshop format. Attendees described the sessions as practical and thought-provoking.
