Bishop Gilson Andrade presides over Mass for education professionals

Bishop Gilson Andrade presided over a Mass for education professionals on Wednesday, October 14, at the Cristo Rei Chapel in Nova Iguaçu. The Diocese of Nova Iguaçu's Education Pastoral organized the celebration at the Santo Antônio Institute of Education to pray for those working in schools.

The liturgy focused on the mission of educators to support the human development of children, adolescents, and adults. During the Mass, the diocese offered prayers for teachers, administrators, staff, and support workers, acknowledging their role in shaping new generations and transforming society.
