Diocese of Linares closes its 46th Synodal Assembly

The Diocese of Linares concluded its 46th Synodal Assembly on Saturday, 17 October, to renew its missionary commitment during the Year of the General Mission. The two day event brought together 419 participants, including 352 synodals, to discuss the challenges of evangelization in both urban and rural communities within Maule Sur.

Under the theme “Con la Virgen del Carmen, nosotros somos testigos,” the assembly served as a space for community discernment and prayer. This gathering continues a tradition of the Permanent Synod, a practice the diocese has maintained for 46 years to involve laity, consecrated persons, deacons, and priests in the life of the local Church.
