Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV has announced his prayer intention for October 2026, asking the faithful to pray for the pastoral care of mental health. As part of the Pray with the Pope program, the Pope seeks to support the integration of mental health ministry throughout the Church to help overcome the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental illnesses.

The Pope also requested during a Sunday in Lourdes that the faithful pray the Rosary for peace during October.
