Saturday October 17th: Divine Inspiration
The Diocese of Port of Spain shared a reflection on the Gospel of Luke regarding the Holy Spirit's role in assisting missionary disciples.
The reflection follows a recent visit from the Bishop of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, who stayed with a local family and presided at Mass in a satellite chapel. After delivering his homily, the bishop told the family he felt inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The diocese connected this experience to the Gospel reading, which instructs believers not to be anxious about what they should say when defending their faith or evangelizing.
