The Diocese of Amarillo is a Latin Church diocese covering 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle, founded in 1926 and suffragan to the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Following the retirement of Bishop Patrick J. Zurek in February 2026, Cardinal Daniel N. DiNardo serves as apostolic administrator pending appointment of a new bishop.
