History
In the El Paso Valley of Texas, in the United States, the Catholic Church maintains the Diocese of El Paso (Latin: Dioecesis Elpasensis, Spanish: Diócesis de El Paso), a suffragan see of the metropolitan Archdiocese of San Antonio. St. Patrick's Cathedral in El Paso serves as its mother church, and Mark J. Seitz is its bishop.
