The Diocese of Villarrica is a Latin Church diocese in southern Chile, erected as a diocese on 19 November 2001 from the former Apostolic Prefecture of Araucanía. It is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Concepción and has been led by Bishop Francisco Stegmeier since 2009.

History
The city of Villarrica gives its name and seat to this diocese (Latin: Villaricen(sis)), part of the ecclesiastical province of Concepción in Chile.
