History
A Latin Rite suffragan see within the ecclesiastical province of Concepción in Chile, the Diocese of Valdivia (Latin: Valdivien(sis)) has as its cathedral the Catedral Nuestra Señora del Rosario, dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, in the city of Valdivia, Los Ríos.
