Latin-rite apostolic prefecture in Guizhou province, southwestern China, established in 1932 as a mission sui iuris from the Apostolic Vicariate of Guiyang and promoted to apostolic prefecture in 1937. It is an exempt jurisdiction directly subject to the Holy See and has been vacant since the death of prefect Augustine Hu Daguo in 2011.

History
In Shiqian County, Guizhou, in southwestern China, the Apostolic Prefecture of Shiqian is a Latin pre-diocesan missionary jurisdiction of the Catholic Church. The county falls under the administration of the city of Tongren (Tong-jen-fou). The prefecture is exempt, subject directly to the Holy See and its Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples rather than to any ecclesiastical province. No cathedral or statistics are available, and it has stood vacant since 2011 without an Apostolic administrator.
