Possibly dormant, the suffragan Latin Diocese of Shinan/Shíhnan/Enshi (Latin: Scenanen(sis), Chinese: 施南, 恩施) belongs to the ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan archbishopric of Hankou in central China while depending on the missionary Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its episcopal see is the city of Shinan, now known as Enshi. The see has been vacant since the death of its sole incumbent in 1942, without an apostolic administrator since 1950, and no statistics are available.
