History
Zhangjiakou is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Hebei province, China, its episcopal see being the city of Zhangjiakou in the province's northwest. Pope Leo XIV created it on 10 September 2025, an act that coincided with the disestablishment of the Diocese of Xuanhua and the Diocese of Xiwanzi and with the consecration of Joseph Wang Zhengui as Zhangjiakou's first bishop. It belongs to the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Beijing.
What is kept by invitation
The record above is published because it is public: what this see is, when it was erected, who holds its chair, and where it stands among its neighbours.
The working record is not. The chancery's address, telephone and email, the clergy of the see, and the hours of Mass, confession and adoration in the parishes within it are kept for members, and a person reads every request.
