The Diocese of Grand Island is a Latin Church diocese covering western and central Nebraska, erected in 1912 as the Diocese of Kearney and renamed in 1917. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Omaha and is led by Bishop Joseph G. Hanefeldt.
