History

Under the patronage of Saint Paul, the Archdiocese of Kalocsa-Kecskemét (Hungarian: Kalocsa-Kecskeméti Főegyházmegye, Latin: Archidioecesis Colocensis-Kecskemetensis) is a Latin Church archdiocese in Hungary. It holds metropolitan authority over the Diocese of Pécs and the Diocese of Szeged-Csanád. Balázs Bábel has served as archbishop since his appointment in 1999.
