History
The Hungarian Greek Catholic Church, a particular church sui iuris of the Catholic Church, includes the Eparchy of Miskolc (Latin: Dioecesis Miskolcensis) among its sees. Its liturgy follows the Byzantine Rite celebrated in the Hungarian language. The eparchy is suffragan to the Archeparchy of Hajdúdorog, a sui iuris metropolis whose province covers all of Hungary, and it depends on the Roman Congregation for the Oriental Churches. Its cathedral church, the Cathedral of the Assumption ("Nagyboldogasszony püspöki székesegyház"), stands in the city of Miskolc in north-eastern Hungary.
What is kept by invitation
The record above is published because it is public: what this see is, when it was erected, who holds its chair, and where it stands among its neighbours.
The working record is not. The chancery's address, telephone and email, the clergy of the see, and the hours of Mass, confession and adoration in the parishes within it are kept for members, and a person reads every request.
