Byzantine-rite metropolitan archeparchy of the Hungarian Greek Catholic Church, erected as the Eparchy of Hajdudorog on 8 June 1912 from Hungarian-speaking parishes of Romanian, Slovak, and Latin sees, and elevated to metropolitan archeparchy on 20 March 2015. Its seat is the Cathedral of the Presentation of Mary in Hajdudorog. Its suffragans are the Eparchies of Miskolc and Nyiregyhaza.

History
Serving Hungary's Greek Catholics in full communion with the Holy See, the Archeparchy of Hajdúdorog (Latin: Archidioecesis Haidudoroghensis) stands at the head of an ecclesiastical province that takes in the whole of Hungary. Its archeparch, the Eastern equivalent of a Latin Church archbishop, holds the office of metropolitan bishop of the metropolis ex officio. The Cathedral of the Presentation of Mary in the city of Hajdúdorog serves as the cathedral church.
