The Maronite Catholic Patriarchal Exarchate of Jordan (Antiochene rite) was erected on 5 October 1996 for Maronite faithful in Jordan, seated in Amman with its principal church of St. Charbel at Marj El Hamam. It depends directly on the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch. Catholic-hierarchy reports about 1,000 Catholics in 4 parishes (2022), under Patriarchal Exarch Moussa El-Hage, O.A.M. (since 2012).
