Maronite Catholic eparchy covering Baalbek and Deir El-Ahmar in the northern Beqaa Valley of Lebanon, subject to the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch. Bishop Hanna Rahme, O.L.M., elected by the Maronite Synod and approved by Pope Francis on June 20, 2015, was consecrated by Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi on August 1, 2015.

History
Located in Deir El Ahmar, Lebanon, the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Baalbek-Deir El Ahmar (Latin: Eparchia Helipolitana-Rubrimonasteriensis Maronitarum) counted 45,000 baptized in 2012. Eparch Hanna Rahmé, OLM, presently governs it.
