Maronite Catholic eparchy of the West Syro-Antiochene rite for Latakia (ancient Laodicea), Syria. Erected in 1977 from the Maronite Archeparchy of Tripoli, it belongs to the Maronite Patriarchate of Antioch. Its seat is Our Lady of Latakia Cathedral.

History
The Maronite Church counts among its Syrian territories the Eparchy of Latakia, or Latakia of the Maronites (Latin: Eparchia Laodicenus Maronitarum). Antoine Chbeir serves as its current eparch, and its membership stood at 35,000 as of 2011.
