History
Southern New Mexico in the United States is served by the Diocese of Las Cruces (Latin: Dioecesis Cruciensis, Spanish: Diócesis de Las Cruces), a suffragan see of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Santa Fe. Its mother church is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Las Cruces, and Peter Baldacchino is its bishop.
