History
One of four ecclesiastical provinces in Kenya, Eastern Africa, has its Metropolitan See in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri (Latin: Archidioecesis Nyeriensis), which nonetheless depends on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. The archbishop's cathedral episcopal see is Our Lady of Consolata Cathedral in Nyeri.
