The Diocese of Kitui is a Latin Church diocese covering Kitui County in eastern Kenya. Established as an apostolic prefecture in 1956 and raised to a diocese on 16 November 1963, it is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Nairobi. John Mbua Mwandi was appointed bishop by Pope Leo XIV on 27 May 2026.

History
The city of Kitui in Kenya gives its name to a Roman Catholic diocese (Latin: Kituien(sis)) within the ecclesiastical province of Nairobi.
