Caraveli is a Latin Church territorial prelature in the southern Andes of Peru, erected on 21 November 1957 and suffragan to the Archdiocese of Ayacucho. Pope Leo XIV appointed Francisco Castro Lalupu as bishop-prelate on 25 May 2026.

History
A pre-diocesan jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Church in southern Peru, the Territorial Prelature of Caravelí (Latin: Praelatura Territorialis Caraveliensis) belongs to the ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan of Ayacucho. Its cathedral episcopal see stands in the city of Caravelí.
