The Archdiocese of Port Moresby is the Latin rite metropolitan see of Papua New Guinea's capital, with the Dioceses of Alotau-Sideia, Bereina, Daru-Kiunga and Kerema as suffragans. Erected on 10 May 1889 as the Vicariate Apostolic of New Guinea, it was elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese on 15 November 1966. Its seat is St. Mary's Cathedral and its archbishop, Cardinal John Ribat, M.S.C., is Papua New Guinea's first cardinal.

The Catholic Church in Papua New Guinea includes the Archdiocese of Port Moresby (Latin: Archidiœcesis Portus Moresbiensis), a Latin Church archdiocese whose cathedral is St. Mary's Cathedral in Port Moresby, National Capital District.
