Latin-rite diocese in southern Poland with its see in Kielce, originally erected in 1805 from the Diocese of Krakow, suppressed in 1818 and restored in 1882. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Krakow. Its mother church is the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kielce.

History
The city of Kielce, within the ecclesiastical province of Kraków in Poland, is home to this Latin diocese of the Catholic Church (Latin: Dioecesis Kielcensis). Its Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kielce carries the designation of Historic Monument of Poland.
