Porto-Santa Rufina is a suburbicarian diocese of Rome, formed from the union of the ancient sees of Porto and Silva Candida (Santa Rufina) under Pope Callistus II around 1119. It is immediately subject to the Holy See and has both a titular cardinal-bishop (Beniamino Stella) and a resident diocesan bishop who serves as ordinary.

History
Formed from the union of two dioceses, Porto-Santa Rufina is a Latin suburbicarian diocese of the Diocese of Rome and a diocese of the Catholic Church in Italy. The diocese of Santa Rufina was in earlier times also known as Silva Candida. Since 1967 the see has had both a titular cardinal bishop and a resident bishop who conducts the diocesan business.
