    Pope Leo XIV presided over a Mass at the Place de la Concorde in Paris on Saturday, September 26, calling on French Catholics to build a renewed nation by rediscovering their roots and publicly sharing their faith. The Holy See reported that approximately 700,000 people attended the celebration, which was the largest gathering of his apostolic journey to France so far. During his homily, the Pope spoke about the human search for meaning, truth, and fulfillment. Using the biblical image of living water, he explained that material goods and immediate satisfactions cannot fill the inner void in the human heart, but only God can provide these answers. He encouraged the faithful to work in favor of life, family, and truth. Before the Mass, the Pope traveled from the Apostolic Nunciature in an open vehicle, greeting crowds along the Champs-Élysées. Following the service, he departed Paris to continue his trip to Lourdes.
