The Diocese of Atambua is a Latin Church diocese on the island of Timor in Indonesia, raised to a diocese in 1961 from the earlier Apostolic Vicariate of Dutch Timor. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kupang.

History
A Latin suffragan see of the Metropolitan of Kupang in Indonesia, the Diocese of Atambua (Latin: Atambuen(sis)) remains dependent on the Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its episcopal cathedral, Katedral Santa Maria Imakulata, dedicated to Mary Immaculate, stands in the town of Atambua.
