History
Erected in 1978, the Diocese of San Bernardino (Latin: Dioecesis Sancti Bernardi, Spanish: Diócesis de San Bernardino) serves Southern California, its jurisdiction taking in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. A suffragan of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, it has as its cathedral Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral in San Bernardino.
