Latin-rite diocese covering Malaita Province in the Solomon Islands, erected in 1982 from the Archdiocese of Honiara, of which it is a suffragan. Bishop Jacob Aba, S.M., a Malaitan Marist, was appointed by Pope Francis on 28 October 2025 following the transfer of Bishop Peter Houhou to Gizo in 2023.

History
Carved out of part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Honiara in 1982, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Auki serves the Solomon Islands as a suffragan of that archdiocese.
