The Central Valley and Mother Lode region of California in the United States belong to this Latin Church diocese (Latin: Diœcesis Stocktoniensis), a suffragan within the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archbishop of San Francisco. The Cathedral of the Annunciation in Stockton serves as its mother church.
