Known informally as Aleppo of the Syrians, this archeparchy of the Syriac Catholic Church in Syria is not a metropolitan see; it is exempt, answering directly to the Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch. Its seat is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption in Halab, Syria.
