History
Latin Rite Catholics throughout Syria fall under the jurisdiction of the Apostolic Vicariate of Aleppo (in Latin: Vicariatus Apostolicus Aleppensis), a pre-diocesan missionary jurisdiction of the Latin Church entitled to a titular bishop. It is immediately subject to the Holy See and its missionary Dicastery for the Eastern Churches.
