The Diocese of Tacuarembo covers the Tacuarembo and Rivera departments of northern Uruguay and was erected in 1960. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Montevideo and is led by Bishop Pedro Ignacio Wolcan Olano, appointed in 2018. No standalone official diocesan website was found; the see is presented via the Conferencia Episcopal del Uruguay.

History
In Uruguay, the Diocese of Tacuarembó (Latin: Dioecesis Tacuarembiana) is a Latin Church territory of the Catholic Church, serving as a suffragan diocese within the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Montevideo, a province that covers the whole country.
What is kept by invitation
