The Diocese of San Jose de Mayo covers the San Jose and Flores departments of Uruguay and was erected in 1955. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Montevideo and is led by Bishop Edgardo Fabian Antunez-Percincula Kaenel, S.J., appointed in 2021.
