The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese covering southwestern Ohio. Erected as a diocese in 1821 and elevated to an archdiocese in 1850, it is the metropolitan see for the ecclesiastical province of Cincinnati, which encompasses all of Ohio.
