The Archdiocese of Manaus is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese in Amazonas state, Brazil, erected as the Diocese of Amazonas in 1892 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1952. Its current ordinary is Cardinal Leonardo Ulrich Steiner, O.F.M., the first cardinal from the Amazon region.
