History
A suffragan Latin diocese of central China, Xiangyang, also rendered Siangyang (Latin: Siamiamen(sis), Chinese: 襄陽), belongs to the ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan Archbishopric of Hankou while depending on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. The episcopal see is the city of Xiangyang in Hubei. No statistics are available, and the see has been vacant since 1974 without an Apostolic administrator.
