A suffragan of the Archdiocese of Hankou, the see has been vacant since the era of its last bishop, Rombert Kowalski OFM, who served until 1970.

Wuchang (Latin: Uciamen(sis), Chinese: 武昌) is a Roman Catholic diocese in China, seated in the Wuchang District of Wuhan in Hubei and belonging to the ecclesiastical province of Hankou.
