The Diocese of Valence is a Latin rite diocese covering the Drome department in southeastern France, with bishops first attested in 347. Suppressed at the Concordat of 1801 and recreated absorbing Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux (and earlier united with Die), it is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Lyon. Its seat is the Cathedral Basilica of St. Apollinaris in Valence.
