Christopher Carstens and George A. Harne, Ph.D., discussed liturgy, beauty, and Church renewal in a new episode of the Christendom Conversations podcast. Carstens, the director of the Office for Sacred Worship in the Diocese of La Crosse, joined Harne, the president of Christendom College, to examine how the laity can participate in the liturgy and engage with tradition. The conversation covered the historical context of liturgical reform and the role of beauty in worship. Carstens, who co-founded the Institute for Liturgical Formation at Christendom College last summer, also spoke about the institute's role in training people responsible for liturgical preparation and execution.
