The Diocese of Madison is a Latin Rite see covering eleven counties in south-central and southwestern Wisconsin, erected in 1946 and suffragan to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Bishop Donald J. Hying has led the diocese since 2019; St. Bernard Catholic Church serves as the cathedral after the original St. Raphael Cathedral was destroyed by fire in 2005.

Southwestern Wisconsin is served by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison (Latin: Diœcesis Madisonensis). St. Bernard Catholic Church serves as its cathedral, and Donald J. Hying is the bishop.
