History

Created in 1986, the diocese of Teano-Calvi (Latin: Dioecesis Theanensis-Calvensis) is a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church in Campania, southern Italy, and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Naples. Its roots reach further back: the historic Diocese of Teano and the diocese of Calvi Risorta had already been united in 1818 as the diocese of Calvi e Teano.
