Delivered to Pope Leo XIV: Michael Matt’s Open Letter from Traditional Catholics

Catholic Intelligence1 min read

Michael J. Matt delivered an open letter to Pope Leo XIV in Rome on behalf of the Catholic Identity Conference. Matt, who publishes The Remnant Newspaper, stated that the document has been signed by over a hundred thousand Catholics.

The letter follows a pilgrimage to St. Peter's Basilica during the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage. Matt reported that Vatican orders barred thousands of pilgrims, including young families, from entering the Basilica. He delivered the letter through contacts within the Vatican.
