The HOAC celebrates its 80th anniversary in the Diocese of Málaga

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

The HOAC will mark its 80th anniversary with events beginning Saturday, November 7, at the Santa María de la Amargura parish in Málaga. The first session includes a course on the Social Doctrine of the Church taught by HOAC member José Luis Fernández Orta, followed by a thanksgiving Mass at 7:30 p.m.

The second part of the course is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the same parish. This free course is open to individuals, parish groups, communities, and movements interested in learning about the value and meaning of the Social Doctrine of the Church.

The anniversary celebrations use the theme "80 years caring for work" to commemorate eight decades of the movement's presence within the working world. The HOAC traces its origins to the autumn of 1946.
