Pope Leo XIV to visit France

Catholic Intelligence1 min read

Pope Leo XIV recently visited France and issued an appeal for young people to grow in holiness, according to a report from the Diocese of Pontoise.

The papal visit was noted during a student Mass held on October 6, 2026, at Saint-Sulpice in Paris. During the Mass, Archbishop Laurent Ulrich of Paris asked the assembly to pray for high school students. Bishop Benoit Bertrand of Pontoise encouraged the students to participate in parish life and take active roles within the Church. The event included various diocesan stands offering information on pilgrimages, chaplaincies, and youth groups.
