History
Covering the southwestern part of Connecticut in the United States, the Diocese of Bridgeport (Latin: Dioecesis Bridgeportensis) takes in all of Fairfield County, Connecticut. It is suffragan to the metropolitan Archdiocese of Hartford, its cathedral is St. Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport, and its bishop is Frank Caggiano.
