Latin-rite diocese in southern Fujian province, China, erected in 1883 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Amoy and elevated to diocese in 1946. A suffragan of the Archdiocese of Fuzhou, its seat is the Cathedral of Christ the King in Xiamen; the see became vacant in 2025 when Bishop Joseph Cai Bingrui was transferred to Fuzhou.

History
In the city of Xiamen in Fujian, part of the ecclesiastical province of Fuzhou, lies the Roman Catholic Diocese of Xiamen, also rendered Amoy or Hsíamen (Latin: Sciiamenen(sis), Chinese: 廈門).
